Oregon Health Authority — Public Health Meaningful Use

Oregon providers that intend to attest for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Meaningful Use Stage 2 (MU2) public health objectives must register their intent to do so with the Oregon Public Health Division (OPHD). Providers must register their intent not later than the 60th day from the start of their EHR reporting period. This system is intended for individual eligible providers (EPs) and meaningful use coordinators registering on behalf of multiple EPs or eligible hospitals (EHs) and critical access hospitals (CAHs). Please select one of the options below to begin the registration process.

CMS specifies the criteria that EPs and EH/CAHs must meet in order to participate in the CMS Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs. For 2014 (year 1 of MU2), the earliest reporting period for EH/CAHs begins on 10/01/2013, and for EPs on 01/01/2014.
